4K@60 Zero-Latency HDMI Extender
HDMI 2.0 input video is compressed losslessly in the encoder, squeezing a 4K@60 RGB / YUV444 stream into 10 GbE bandwidth. It is then transported over CAT6 or fiber to the decoder, which decodes and restores the HDMI 2.0 output. The complete solution delivers high-quality, zero-latency video transmission.
Typical applications:
LAN-based IP video applications — works across switches, delivering high quality and zero-latency video transport
1. Remote desktop: workstation in the server room, monitor and keyboard/mouse at the desk — operators see complex UIs clearly and experience zero mouse-input lag
2. Medical: zero-latency transport of operating-room video to a consultation center, giving multiple consulting physicians a first-person view of the procedure and the ability to direct the surgeon in real time
3. Real-time robotic control: an underwater robot cleaning hull fouling streams real-time imagery to operators, who control the robot in real time
Solution highlights:
1. Huffman-diff algorithm delivers 2×-3× lossless compression — fitting a 4K stream into a single 10 GbE link
2. Choose 0 ms latency or 4 ms latency. The 0 ms mode uses a fixed Huffman index table; the 4 ms mode uses a real-time image-aware Huffman index table for higher compression.
3. Network connection over CAT6 or 10G fiber — CAT6 reaches 120 m, fiber reaches 20 km
4. Pass-through for audio, USB, RS232, IR and other peripherals
