Wireless Video Transmission
BergLogic's wireless video transmission solution uses a JPEG2000 codec to deliver 4K@60fps imagery over Wi-Fi 6 with visually lossless quality and low latency. The solution includes packet-error detection, packet-loss detection, retransmission and reordering — enabling reliable transport over inherently unreliable wireless networks. It is also highly tolerant of unrecoverable network errors: only a small region of the current frame is affected, and the next frame recovers automatically. This makes our solution ideal for video transport over unpredictable networks like Wi-Fi 6.
BergLogic's wireless video solution offers imperceptible latency (under 8.5 ms) and visually lossless image quality. Users won't sense any transmission delay or lag, nor any image quality loss. Even in the demanding case of streaming HD game video wirelessly, users get a smooth experience comparable to a direct HDMI connection. Compared to H.264 / H.265-based wireless video, our core advantages are ultra-low latency and ultra-high picture quality — at the cost of higher network bandwidth, a trade-off easily absorbed by Wi-Fi 6.
