AMD Adaptive Computing Summit
On July 23, 2024, the AMD Adaptive Computing Summit was held in Shenzhen. BergLogic attended as an invited guest, delivering a keynote talk on "JPEG2000 Codec Solutions" and demonstrating a live JPEG2000 demo on site.
Our booth drew strong interest throughout the summit, attracting many visitors. We also held in-depth, face-to-face conversations with industry peers.
BergLogic's JPEG 2000 IP comes in a Standard variant and a Low-Latency variant. The Standard variant outputs a JP2-format bitstream that decodes through the official reference software. The Low-Latency variant targets video streams — 25× compression, visually lossless, with latency under 8.5 ms. JPEG 2000 has its own strengths relative to H.264, H.265 and JPEG XS, each suited to different use cases.
BergLogic is committed to offering a broad portfolio of codec solutions tailored to different application scenarios. We are scaling R&D investment; over the coming year we plan to release DSC 1.1, JPEG XS and HTJ2K — giving customers more choices. We will continue to explore industry demand and bring more FPGA-based video algorithms and solutions to market.
